Ours are made to order from semi~precious gemstones, and will become 'powered up' with repeated use and be a highly sacred personal object; therefore it is suggested that you don't borrow or lend out beads. Gemstone beads also are used for their spiritual and astrological significance, as well as their varied healing properties.

Mala Beads have 108 beads, or a division of that number such as 54 or 27. We offer the Full Mala (108) and the Hand Mala (27).

Traditionally you should never cross the end bead, sometimes called the meru (mountain) or guru bead. This bead accumulates & stores power. When using a smaller version (not the Full Mala), you will chant all the way round the beads one way & then back the way you started, as many times as it takes to complete the meditation.
